Messianic Prophecies That Jesus Fulfilled By Minister Speed

This blog is concerning the most prominent figure in the history of Planet Earth.  He came to us 2013 years ago in a very tiny village in one of the most remote locations in the world at the time.   Many have called him a fraud, some say He is just a good teacher, yet to billions since His birth He is the God incarnated Son of the living God.

My desire in this article is to show why I feel that Jesus (Yeshua Hamaschia) is the Messiah by showing that His fulfillment of prophecies were not done by people to convince others of who He is, but these fulfillments came in a way which can only be called “miraculous.”

The Old Testament predicted Jesus’s appearance and prepared the world for Him.  The New Testament recorded his life, ministry, and plan for salvation.  Many prophecies were fulfilled by Jesus.  Could He have purposely fulfilled the prophecies so as to make himself look like the messiah?  There are over 100 prophecies which predict Yeshua‘s life, death, and ministry.  I will list a few for the purpose of longevity and study.
Old Testament prophecies foretold:

1.   How he would die -He was numbered with the transgressors, he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.   We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:5-6 /7

 2. How soldiers would gamble for His clothing - They divide my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing. Psalm 22:18

 3. That his side would be pierced - They will look on Me whom they pierce.(Zechariah 12:10).

 4. Where he would be buried - He made His grave with the rich at His death. (Isaiah 53:9).

 5. Where he would be born -Out of you, Bethlehem Ephratah shall come forth the One to be Ruler in Israel. (Micah 5:2).

 6. That no bones in His body would be broken - He protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken. Psalm 34:20

 7. The virgin birth - Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel. (Isaiah 7:14).

  8. His betrayal - My own familiar friend in whom I trusted has lifted up his heel against me (Psalm 41:9).

These are 8 different prophecies, and it is impossible for Jesus to have purposely fulfilled them.  While hanging on the cross, how would He have purposely fulfilled having the spear stuck in his side?  How would He have fulfilled the prophecy of the guards casting lots for his clothes?  How would He have purposely fulfilled being born of a virgin and in Bethlehem at a certain time in history?  These things were out of His control.  I challange you to find the New Testament fulfillment of the above 8 prophecies and list them in comments/statements.

The chances of just one person fulfilling all eight of these prophecies are;

1 out of 100,000,000,000,000,000, or 1 out of 10 to the 17.

Unless He was operating under the authority of God, how could Jesus arrange to fulfill any of the following Messianic prophecies? After all, He was either not born when these prophecies were written or He was not in a position to dictate what would happen to Him.

Born in Bethlehem
Be from Nazareth
Come out of Egypt (as a young child)
Descended from Judah
Descended from Jesse
Descended from David
No bones broken
Betrayed by a friend
Betrayed for exactly 30 pieces of silver
30 pieces of silver returned
30 pieces used to buy the potter's field
Born of a virgin
Perform miracles
His Ressurection

I purposely did not list the scripture connected to the above list of prophecies so that you can search the scriptures for yourself.  I look forward to any questions or comments regarding this article.  God bless
