John 5:39 (KJV) Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
Jesus is saying don't forget Him:
As you tell your funny little jokes, don't forget.
As you vote for your president and your heart swells with patriot pride, don't forget.
As you gain your college education and learn about the world and science, don't forget.
As your son or daughter experiences the world without Me (Christ), don't you forget.
As the world moves on into it's Anti godly maturity, don't forget about me.
It appears that Jesus words have never been more pertinent or needed as now. Many within the faith who identify as Christians do so without the necessity of Scriptures or the Holy Spirit, and promote a gospel of "Love" which does not recognize that the Love of Christ included a message which states that we are all sinners and therefore not worthy of God. This places us in eternal damnation or life without Christ.
As a minister of the gospel, I have never come under such attacks for speaking bible truth. Most are by those with very little Bible education who see the gospel of Jesus as not being necessary for their Salvation. I hear "just Love" and never I'm a sinner Lord save me.
There is no respect for the calling of God to "search the scriptures" and bear witness of the Lord. There is definitely no respect for the man of God called to preach this gospel.
In God’s
plan, preachers are indispensable. They proclaim the good news of salvation by
grace through faith in Christ Jesus. To understand why preachers are necessary,
we must understand the nature of the gospel. Paul explains this in Romans.
Because
everyone sins (Romans 3:23) everyone needs God’s grace.
Paul said
about certain Jews: “For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and
seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the
righteousness of God” (Romans 10:3).
We must
submit to God’s righteousness to be saved. This requires obedience. Paul says
in verse 16: “But they have not all obeyed the gospel.”
Listen when you speak out against Christianity, you are speaking against God. Listen to what scripture says about one who wishes to preach The Lord's gospel.
You must know the truth and you must have faith. Paul
wrote: “I was appointed a preacher and an apostle -- I am speaking the truth in
Christ and not lying -- a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth” (1
Timothy 2:7).
When Paul preached, he spoke the truth. The world already
has too many men who preach lies, so please do not preach unless you preach the
truth.
To know the truth you must know the Scriptures. You must
strive to be “mighty in the Scriptures” like Apollos (Acts 18:24). You must
follow the example of Ezra: “For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of
the Lord, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel” (Ezra
7:10).
You see in order to preach Christ you must become willing to be ostracize and put down by a world that doesn't believe as God believes. You may have a homosexual son or daughter and yes you should still love them, but you must be unwilling to forsake the word of God because of them.
In Luke 14 :26 Jesus said, If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and
children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my
disciple. A sin is a sin is a sin is a sin whether it is mine or a loved one.
In order to preach Jesus there can be no organization which usurps the Power, Love, and Words of the Lord. I know many who claim Christianity within the 12 Step Programs and have given up their inheritance to fit in with others.
They are ashamed of the gospel of Jesus and are muzzled like kidnap victims. They remain in fear of drinking and using and tell themselves they are powerless and have changed the truth of God into a lie, and worship and
serve the creature more than the Creator.
Those who shout the “Love of Christ” often do so without any
understanding of Christ...AT ALL.
The “love of Christ,” as opposed to “love for Christ, refers
to the love that He has toward mankind.
His love can be briefly stated as His willingness to act in our best interest, especially in meeting our greatest need, even though it cost Him everything and even though we were the least worthy of such love.
His love can be briefly stated as His willingness to act in our best interest, especially in meeting our greatest need, even though it cost Him everything and even though we were the least worthy of such love.
Though Christ Jesus, being God in nature, existed from the
beginning of time with God the Father (John 1:1) and the Holy Spirit. He
willingly left His throne (John 1:1-14) to become a man, that He might pay the
penalty for our sin so that we would not have to pay for it for all eternity in
the lake of fire (Rev. 20:11-15).
Because mankind’s sin has been paid for by our sinless Savior Jesus Christ. God who is just and holy can now forgive our sins when we accept Christ Jesus’ payment as our own (Romans 3:21-26). Thus, Christ’s love is shown in His leaving His home in heaven, where He was worshipped and honored. Then He came to earth as a man where He would be mocked, betrayed, beaten, and crucified on a cross to pay the penalty for our sin, rising again from the dead on the third day.

He considered our need of a Savior from our sin and its penalty as more important than His own comfort and life (Philippians 2:3-8). Can you preach that gospel, deny yourself and how you feel with your little beliefs and plans?
Sometimes people may give their lives willingly for ones
they deem as worthy—a friend, a relative, other “good” people—but Christ’s love
goes beyond that. Christ’s love extends to those most unworthy of it. He
willingly took the punishment of those who tortured Him, hated Him, rebelled
against Him, and cared nothing about Him. These were those who were most undeserving of
His love (Romans 5:6-8).
He loved me even while I was a sinner. He gave the most He could give for those who deserved it the least! Sacrifice, then, is the essence of godly love, called agape love. This is God-like love, not man-like love (Matthew 5:43-48). Please understand that if you are a non-believer and are doing things your way that this love extends towards you also. Just know that if you die in your sins you will not receive of that love in eternity.

This love which He demonstrated toward us on the cross is
just the beginning. When we place our trust in Him as our Savior, He makes us
God’s children, co-heirs with Him! He comes to dwell within us through His Holy
Spirit, promising that He will never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5-6).
Thus, we have a loving companion for life. And no matter
what we go through, He is there, and His love is ever available to us (Romans
8:35).
But as He rightfully reigns as a benevolent King in heaven, we need to give Him the position He deserves in our lives as well, that of Master and not merely companion. It is only then that we will experience life as He intended and live in the fullness of His love (John 10:10).

In closing I will post excerpts from a Barna's research article about the attitude toward the Church and their expectation.
"There appears to be a growing sentiment among many younger
Christians in America today. They love Jesus but they want little to do with
His Church. It’s not that they don’t like the their local church or even other
Christians—it’s that they don’t like how Christianity in America is frequently
represented by many professing Evangelicals, which in their minds is often
unloving, judgmental, arrogant, and hypocritical.
This assertion finds support in the data revealed in Barna’s
most recent research. For example, “four out of five young churchgoers say that
Christianity is antihomosexual; half describe it as judgmental, too involved in
politics, hypocritical, and confusing; one-third believe their faith is
old-fashioned and out of touch with reality; and one-quarter of young
Christians believe it is boring and insensitive to others.” (Kinnamon &
Lyons, unChristian, Baker Books, 2007, pp.33-34)
Those outside the Church hold increasingly negative views of
Christians as well. Among young people (aged 16-29), roughly 49 percent hold an
“extraordinarily negative” view of evangelical Christians and only 3 percent
have a “good” impression!
Kinnamon and Lyons summarize the problem well by pointing to
the comments of one thirty-five year-old believer who says, ‘Christians have
become political, judgmental, intolerant, weak, religious, angry, and without
balance. Christianity has become a nice Sunday drive. Where is the living God,
the Holy Spirit, and amazing Jesus, the love, the compassion, the holiness?
This type of life, how I yearn for that.”
In response to that article I say this. God is not a man that He should lie, nor the Son of man that He should repent. You want the Loving, compassionate Christ but only if he changes His message. You want His people to leave the World alone when His message to the Christians is to go out into the world and preach the gospel to every creature, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
You want them to stay out of politics when politics is a part of the world and arena we live in. You want us to be tolerant of the very things "OUR" God told us to preach against.
You want them to stay out of politics when politics is a part of the world and arena we live in. You want us to be tolerant of the very things "OUR" God told us to preach against.
You ask where is the Holy Spirit and I say to you that Jesus stated in John 16:8 When he (The Holy Spirit) comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment.
You speak of that which you do not know. That spirit which cries for Jesus and His church to change is the spirit of the Anti Christ. God said in His word, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed (Galatians 1:8).
When it came to the world and it's ways Jesus said, No man can serve two masters. We have not been sent to conform unto the world but rather to preach, teach and reach this world through the gospel of Jesus. We have not been sent to use worldly principles to do this but Christ has revealed in His word how this is to be done.
Did you not realize the word of God is OFFENSIVE to the world? Jeremiah 6:10 To whom can I speak and give warning? Who will listen to me? Their ears are closed so they cannot hear. The word of the LORD is offensive to them; they find no pleasure in it.
The great dilemma for Christians is to preach the truth of
God's Word against homosexuality while simultaneously expressing God's love for homosexuals and all humanity. It just cannot be done without homosexuals being
offended!!!
The Bible cannot be rewritten to be non-offensive to the wicked.
Homosexuals claim that any mention of homosexuality being a sin is bigotry and
dehumanizing slander. That's the exact wording used in the pro-homosexual
propaganda film, PRAYERS FOR BOBBY.
Christians will never win with the wicked.
No matter how loving God-fearing Christians try to be, homosexuals will never
be content until Christians are totally silenced and supportive of their evil
deeds.
As Christians we ought to express God's unconditional love
for all sinners; however, we must never compromise our stand for the teachings
of the Word of God.
More times than not, you'll find in life that it is
homosexuals who are intolerant of Christians and the Bible. Homosexuals like to
toss the label of “homophobia” at God-fearing Christians. However, it is not
homosexuality that we fear as believers in Christ; but rather, the judgments of
God against all sexual immorality and wickedness (Colossians 3:5-6; Romans
1:24-32).
The truth is that homosexuals are phobic of Biblical Christianity, which
is why they are changing the Bible into corrupt versions (Romans 1:25). The
Committee on Biblical Translation (CBT) are some of the most evil people on the
planet, behind the perversion called the NIV 2011 as the Holy Spirit is no longer
a “He”.
Homosexuals have even wrote their own version of the Bible called "The Queer James Bible, where they changed the scriptures relating to homosexual from the bible. Imagine changing the Bible to cater to the political correctness and evil
agenda's of a warped and perverted generation. This is the height of wickedness. Hell
will not be hot enough (Revelation 22:19).
I've been on this front line for 13 years and I've never felt such an attack as I do in these days. I am reminded of scriptures where the 3 Hebrew boys made their stand and did not bow in spite of tremendous pressure from their people and the world around them.
I've been on this front line for 13 years and I've never felt such an attack as I do in these days. I am reminded of scriptures where the 3 Hebrew boys made their stand and did not bow in spite of tremendous pressure from their people and the world around them.
They said Daniel 3: 16-18, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not
need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. 17 If we are thrown into
the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he
will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. 18 But even if he does not, we
want you to know, Your Majesty that we will not serve your gods or worship the
image of gold you have set up.”
You see God saved me and gave me a second chance. He open my mind and filled me with His Holy Spirit. He revealed His word to me and those things which were, are, and yet to come. I am convinced that He and He alone is worthy and I would gladly place my life on what He has said.
I therefore charge you to turn away from your sins. To confess, repent the Lord Jesus Christ for the salvation of your souls. Be disciples of the word of God, and make others disciples for the Kingdom of God is at hand.
Amen
