The Guru: T.D. Jakes says, “Belief in God Is Not Enough,” You Must Believe in “Yourself”!!! 

 Minister Speed: T.D Jakes once dubbed the next Billy Graham was for some time known for his extraordinary and fiery sermon where he attracted crowds by the thousands. Sadly to say in recent years he has walked away from that faith and through his own words and images aligned himself to those who openly profess that Christ is “dead” and “not the only way to God.” 

I judge not by appearances of course, but we have been asked by the Word of God, therefore God Himself to judge and to test every spirit once we have removed the beam out of our own eyes.

John 7:24, Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

1 John 4:1 “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world”. 

 God also has warned us in His word in 2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? 

 The sad truth is this prosperity preacher is leading many away from the truth which is in Gods’ Holy Scripture and therefore leading many to damnation.  See video Clip of Oprah denying Jesus Christ before millions, and also stating He is not the only way to God. Please note that Jesus said in John 14:6 - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." 

 The Bishop now embraces Yoga, he has ministered with Eckhart Tolle, Deepak Chopra, Oprah Winfrey and other New Age (life coach) spiritualist. We already know he walks with folks who don’t agree with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. But he now suggests that trusting and believing God is not enough. So I assume we have to lean on our understanding and believe in ourselves.

The bible is very clear concerning “ourselves” John 15:5 said, “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” Then in Matthew 16:24-25 Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” 

Paul told us in Phil. 3:3 “For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.” He also said in Roman 7:18 KJV “For I know, that in me (that is, in my flesh) dwelleth no good thing. For to will is present with me: but how to perform that which is good, I find not.” 

 You see my brothers and sisters if you understand English you will realize that the saying “believe in yourself” is more than a statement of self confidence but a belief or faith, In other words, a religious statement.It is disguised as a statement of self confidence so that it is accepted globally as a means to liberate people from low self confidence but ultimately when the whole world has accepted it, it will be totally exposed as an Antichrist religious statement. This has also been disguised in globally popular talk shows such as Oprah as “the triumph of human spirit” , sang by R Kelly in "I believe I can fly", expressed by Whitney Huston in "The greatest love of all" and popularized in a South African youth program called "love life" and many other motivational books. 

WE did not make ourselves for our own purpose or glory. A human being’s full potential can only be realized when He connects with the Heavenly Father, God, maker of mankind who knows every part of their being. Even if hypothetically speaking we were to supposedly say the statement, “believe in yourself” was about self confidence, true Christianity does not promote self confidence but GOD confidence. Meaning you must have confidence yes great confidence in that Christ is with you and THROUGH HIM and HIS power within you greatness can be achieved. Through you God can do great things.In these last days Christians need to be very careful as the bible tells us that even the very elect may be deceived.

If you are a believer and follower of Christ here are a few verses that can help you overcome this doctrine and spirit of Antichrist.

 So what did T.D. Jakes say?

 Before a crowd of 25,000 women at Phillips Arena in Atlanta, Bishop T.D. Jakes opened up the first day of his annual “Woman, Thou Art Loosed!” conference by saying that it is important that a faith in God be coupled with a belief in oneself. “There are two aspects of faith that are critical for you to make it through this world,” said Jakes, who is the lead pastor of the 30,000-member The Potter’s House in Dallas. “Number one, you have to believe in God. If you don’t believe in God there are some things for which there is no answer, no rationale, and no comfort. 

People will become sort of being what you need when you need it. You will spend the rest of your life searching through people who are just as broken as you are trying how to get it together. You must believe in God. “But I’m going to tell you something tonight. Believing in God is not enough because I also want to remind you that the Bible said the demons believe and tremble. The second area of belief is critical and this is an area where even Christian believers are often attacked,” he continued. “We do good in believing in God. Some of us were raised believing in God and if you got that part real good the enemy comes along and tries to destroy the ability to believe in yourself. He will show you all kinds of reasons to make you think that you don’t have it … He is always throwing up something in your face to get you not to believe in yourself.” 

The three-day conference that began on Thursday is also a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the book Woman, Thou Art Loosed! written by Jakes. The main sessions are being livestreamed on the WTAL official website. Turning from what he says are the devil’s plans to “destroy the ability to believe in oneself,” Jakes then explained the part of the spiritual equation that includes the individual by emphasizing “I” in a well- known Bible verse. Let me back that up with the Bible. Paul said, ‘I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me,’ (Editors notes: So if believing in God is not enough, then how can you do anything in Christ?

When it comes to the gospel you don’t believe in yourself! ) Jakes exalted the women, many standing and receiving his message with arms raised. The event features discussion on women’s role in society and “how they can use their strengths, gifts and abilities to overcome any obstacle to transform their lives in a positive and exciting way,” according to organizers. 

Paula White, pastor of New Destiny Christian Center in Apopka, Fla., spoke to the crowd shortly before Jake’s sermon, praying for the release from financial bondage for those in attendance and encouraging people to give money during the evening’s offering. Other prominent church speakers planned for the event include Jakes’ wife, First Lady Serita Jakes, Pastor Sheryl Brady, the campus pastor of The Potter’s House of North Dallas, and best-selling author and speaker Dr. Cindy Trimm of Trimm International. 

In his book, Woman, Thou Art Loosed! Jakes writes about difficult experiences women go through, including trauma, abuse, distress, but says there is a solution for every trouble. T.D. Jakes also has a role in the 2004 movie of the same name based on his book. Musical guests for the Atlanta conference are Grammy Award winner Ann Nesby, Joy Hill, Gaye Arbuckle and “The Woman Thou Art Loosed” Praise Team. Additionally, the winner of the next big gospel music star contest on Facebook organized by Jakes was given the opportunity to perform before the audience at the conference.

Do you really understand what Oprah, Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle really represent to The Christian Faith?  Please keep an open mind and begin to research for yourself because T.D Jakes alignment with them represent a moving away from Holy Scriptures with no mentioning of Jesus Christ, being filled with the Holy Spirit or anything that represent the Worldview of Christianity. 

They do not believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for our sin, that Satan is real, or any tenets of Christianity.  

In closing I'd like to say at least the women are being loose. The conference started with 90,000 women and now it’s down to 25,000. Praise God!

Gods' Love Is Not Unconditional By Minister Speed

It’s amazing how New Age information has stealthily made its way into the Christian Doctrine.  Everyone is creating a new Jesus and twisting His teaching into a compartmentalize doctrine which only recognize love as one of His characters and not judgment, correction, and conditions with a strict adherence to the Word and Will of God.

The latest craze is a God who loves all people unconditionally.  This promotes a mentality which says that you can do whatever you wish to do and God will continue to tolerate it and there are no consequences for whatever path you chose. They all lead to God anyway.

The situation has gotten to the point that even the people who are called by Gods’ name have been deluded that all they have to do is believe and they are “Saved” and will receive all of the divine promises that God has in His word.  This type of thinking has especially become prevalent in the America church house which has turn into a materialistic spiritual prostituted club house.

To think that the God of creation doesn't care how you worship Him, or how you stand before Him, or that he carries no condition to His loving power has become a staple of the New Age bible-less mentality.

I’m here to tell you that nothing can be farther from the truth.  God cannot be placed into a box where you determine how and when He will react to a certain situation. While the Love of God is certainly the most powerful force in the Universe, please know that Gods’ Love is not unconditional and what He expects of us carries a great responsibility and "certain" conditions.

Here are a few scriptures that you should make yourself familiar with.

1. 2 Chronicle 7:14 Kjv - If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

1a. If is a requirement which specifies that a condition must be met in order for a thing to exist.  The passage above indicates 4 things that a child of God must do in order for God to operate fully in their life. 

2. Matthew 7:21 - Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

2a. Here we see that if you are not “doing” the will of God then you most assuredly will not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.  This contradict the just believe teaching

3. 2 Timothy 2:15 - Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

3a. God is saying that you must study His Word, His Bible Doctrine to gain His approval.  The opposite of that scripture can be seen in the statement “ ignorance or lack of study of Gods’ word is disproval from God.”

4.  Matthew 5:23 & 24 - Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; 24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

4a. Here we see that believers have been instructed to make sure they are to forgive those that have done something against them before they come to God with a request, prayer, or blessing.

5. John 8:24 Niv - I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am he, you will indeed die in your sins.”

6. John 14:16- Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

6a. Here Jesus is saying that If your belief system is not from Him, and the will and word of God then you will never enter into heaven.

The fact that at some point in time God acted with charity towards a sinful world by giving them a savior does not imply that God loves all men unconditionally.  In fact the scriptures say exactly the opposite.  They say that God does not love wicked mankind and was sorry that He made them.

 "The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.   And the LORD was “SORRY THAT HE HAD MADE MAN ON THE EARTH” and it grieved Him to His heart"
(Gen 6:5-6).

One might argue that even though God is sorry that He made man, He still loves them despite their wickedness.  You know..."God hates sin, but loves the sinner!"  The problem is that this popular slogan is not scriptural.  On the contrary, the Bible says:

    "For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee...

     THOU HATEST ALL WORKERS OF INIQUITY.” (Psalms 5:4-5)

    "...But The wicked and him that loveth violence HIS SOUL HATETH."(Psalms 11:5

    "The face of the LORD is against them that do evil..." (Psalms 34:16)

"He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: And he that loveth me SHALL BE LOVED OF MY FATHER..." (John 14:21)

Those verses clearly say that God will love someone IF they keep His commandments.  Therefore, the doctrine of God's unconditional love of mankind is false.  We must stop listening to the ear tickling sermons of modern Christianity and let the scriptures speak for themselves about whom God loves...

     "The LORD loveth the righteous." (Psalms 146:8)

     "He loveth him that followeth after righteousness."  (Proverbs 15:9)

     "I love them that love Me."   (Proverbs 8:17)

To continue we can see that Scripture clearly teaches that God's love (phileo, agape, etc.) is unfailing, undeserved, and unilateral (completely one-sided in initiation). But is God's love without condition--I.E.: UN-conditional?

On this we should consider three things: 1) Where did this idea come from? 2) Is it consistent with Scripture? And 3) Could this be a modern packaging of the New Age old message of false prophecy?

1), the words unconditional and love are not used in Scripture in either the Old or New Testaments, nor does any of the early church fathers use the phrase. Readers have pointed out that it was first used in 1751 in negative reference to the Moravian heresy, and more recently by Erich Fromm in the 1930s to describe the matricentric complex (vs. patricentric; hat tip: Mark Long). But these are arcane references.

The phrase unconditional love entered mainstream, pop-culture English during the 1960s LSD drug culture. What the flower-children originally meant by unconditional love had to do with "love the one you are with" in the sexual revolution sense. But the phrase did not last long even among the hippies because it is inherently contradictory: to love is to care deeply about the condition of the one loved.   But "under the influence" a lot of things made sense that didn't later. After the drugs wore off, psychology flirted with the pop-phrase in the 1970's in the "transactional analysis" fad, but this was ephemeral and quickly dropped from view. Just about then a few susceptible Christian teachers stepped in and took the baton, and the rest is history.

With this dubious modern pedigree we must ask the obvious question: is this an idea that comes from above, or from below? (John 8:23)

2), Is the implicit idea that the phrase asserts consistent with Scripture? If we look at the phrase in the way most people quote it, then definitely not.  If unconditional can exist in the same phrase as love without canceling it, then why did Jesus bother declaring the conditions? "You must be born again." etc.

Think about it. In a typical teaching of Jesus, much of what He said was the life-giving conditions of moving out-of a position of wrath and into a loving relationship with the Father. The catch-phrase unconditional love strips these words right out of our Savior's mouth. "Hey Jesus, you can't say that! Don't you know that God's agape love is unconditional?"

John 8:31-32 (NIV) ...Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

Get it? If then is a condition which specifies that a condition must be met in order for a thing to exist.

3), We should consider the possibility that this New Age phrase might be a wolf in sheep's clothing. The fact is unconditional love is one of Satan's latest repackaging of the "peace, peace" message that has always been the essence of false prophecy? Of course, Satan would never be that clever, to deny the very words of God with a subtle twist of phrase? Would he?

Because of a Bible lesson on this site which calls for repentance from homosexuality, we get a lot of "flame" from Sodomites and Lesbians.  A typical complaint is to lecture us that "God's love is unconditional", thus justifying their actions--or whatever--since "God loves everyone eternally no matter what they believe or do." By this way of thinking, "It makes no difference which 'god' you worship or sins you commit since God's unconditional love would never allow Him to send anyone to hell.

 Condemning people to hell is not exactly a loving thing to do for those so sent, is it? So, it does not matter what people think or believe or do. God's unconditional love means that we will all go to heaven.

I know that this article will not be received in the Spirit it was written if at all read and I’m ok with that but know this. 

The word Holy is indicative of thought, actions, and deeds being set apart for God. It starts with the belief that what God says is right, you believe is right.  What God has said is wrong you believe and are convicted that it is wrong.  Even if you cannot pull it off you at least know that it is wrong.  In your heart you are not against God and through His Holy Spirit He will give you the power to live according to His ways.

The sinning Christian has been repeatedly told that: "God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life!"  ...Sadly, nothing could be farther from the truth, for their end shall be eternal destruction.
