Syria & Israel In End Time Prophecies W Hermeneutical Principles By Minister Speed

End Time Prophecies are being fulfilled and know that Syria in the bible is called Damascus. This keeps in line with the Grammatical principle of Hermeneutics and makes for proper Bible Interpretation.

Please understand that the news about Syria are all connected to Israel and there is a reason Obama wants to utilize America's Military Industrial Complex to invade a sovereign nation. Israel is the only real Non Muslim country in the Middle East we are allied to. Also they are the prophesied children of God.

I believe the Book of Isaiah 17 details a horrific event that leaves Syria uninhabitable and sets the stage for World War 3 and leads to worldwide tribulation and the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 17:1-5
(NKJV)

Proclamation Against Syria and Israel

17 The burden against Damascus.

“Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city,
And it will be a ruinous heap.
2 The cities of Aroer are forsaken;[a]
They will be for flocks
Which lie down, and no one will make them afraid.
3 The fortress also will cease from Ephraim,
The kingdom from Damascus,
And the remnant of Syria;
They will be as the glory of the children of Israel,”
Says the Lord of hosts.

When reading the bible one must use the Hermeneutical approach to interpret its meaning.

The Bible Is Hard To Understand In Part Because Its Truths Are Uncovered Little By Little and All Over The Place.  Isaiah 28:9-10: “Whom will He teach knowledge? And whom will he make to understand the message? Those just weaned from milk? Those just drawn from the breasts? For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little.”

Hermeneutic- Is the science of biblical interpretation.

There are 2 types of hermeneutics.

1.Exogesis – Allowing the text to speak to you.

2.Expository preacher- A form of preaching that expounds upon the meaning of a particular text or message of scripture.  To concentrate on a specific topic and Reference texts covering the topic.

3.Isogesis- To read into the text, to approach the text with pre conceived ideologies.  This comes from false doctrines and cults.

3 most common flaws people make in scripture interpretation.

1.Refrain from making a point at the price of proper interpretation (Making the bible say what you want it to say.)  Ex. 1 Chronicles 16:22 Touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm.   This was actually in reference to David and King Saul who was God’s anointed king.

2.Avoid superficial study of scriptures.  Just reading something & speaking what you think on it.

3.Don’t spiritualize or allegorize unless the text calls for it.

The bible is not equal to but is the living word of God.

In the above verses we can read from a Historical point of view that Syria today has a capital called Damascus.

Damascus is one of the oldest cities in the world.

In continuing our Hermeneutical study we can look back historically and see that this city has never been
DESTROYED AND BROUGHT TO RUINS.

Therefore we can see that these verses apply to End Time Prophecies. Anytime the bible use literal terms that have not come to pass we know that this is a futuristic event from the time it was written and will happen.

We can also see this will be a Literal interpretation as it states that the destruction will be so complete that flocks of animals will lay down without fear of reprisal from a man.

Also from a Synthesis principle THIS DESTRUCTION WILL BE FOR THE GLORY OF ISRAEL. Everything in Bible Prophecy will always point back to Israel and we can see that (if our spiritual eyes are open).

What is Israel’s interest in Syria and the possibility of a US-led attack? Israel’s current policy seems to be to stay out of it unless any red lines are crossed, at which point it would act covertly to deal with the threat.

What is the threat to Israel? While the Syrian President Assad regime is linked to Iran and Hezbollah, some experts say most of the groups opposing him are in one way or another close in ideology to either al-Qaida or the Muslim Brotherhood.

These are groups who have been create for one thing only.

THE COMPLETE DESTRUCTION OF ISRAEL!!!

Know that if you are unaware of these End Time prophecies you are already on your way to Biblical Narcolepsy. The Practical interpretation of scripture is irrefutable and as a child of God one must be able to see how today’s world event can and do apply and affect your life today.

It's Time To Awaken!!!

 The 5 principles of Hermeneutics

1.Literal Principle- in simple terms, this means that we are to interpret the Word of God just as we interpret other forms of communication — in its most obvious and literal sense. Literal interpretation means we understand scripture in the normal sense, including figures of speech like parables, hyperbole, simile, metaphor, and symbolism.

Most often, the biblical authors employed literal statements to communicate their ideas (such as when the apostle Paul said of Jesus, “By Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth” — (Colossians 1:16)

And where the biblical writers express their ideas in literal statements, the interpreter must take those statements in a literal sense. In this way, the interpreter will grasp the intended meaning of the writer.

2.The Historical Principle- What is the historical background? Ex.Matthew 5:30, If thy right hand offends thee, cut it off.  ( i.e Painful to walk in victory not cut off your hand.)

  • Men had many different wives.
  • Certain things had certain meaning.  Ex. In Ephesia the women of that city that became Christian came out of the temple of Aphrodite.  They were prostitutes.   This is why Paul said don’t come to church adorn like that (i.e. jewelry/clothes worn like those women wore.
  • As we have noted, one of the crucial steps in understanding what a text means is to have some grasp of the cultural, geographical, and political setting in which the passage was written.  If you understand the historical context, the passage often will practically interpret itself.

3.The Grammatical Principle- is also necessary.  What does the passage say in terms of words and grammar? Often it is necessary to explain certain words and their meaning.  Sometimes prepositions are very important.  It can matter a great deal whether a passage says “into” or “in” or “by” or “with.”

Sometimes there is a crucial difference between “because of” and “through.” If a sentence refers to “this” or “it,” it is important to know the antecedent of the pronoun- in other words, to what is “this” or “it” referring?

Ex. 2 Samuel 13:1-19.  Amar loved Tamar then he raped her and didn't want to have anything to do with her.  In the Greek language and scripture is interpreted in Greek there are 3 definitions for Love.
  • Eros – Lust, Physical.
  • Philo – Brotherly Love.
  • Agape- God’s unconditional love.
  • Amar lusted/loved for Tamar.

4.The Synthesis Principle- The Synthesis Principle is based on the idea that no part of the Bible contradicts any other part.  One “Author”- the Holy Spirit-inspired the whole Bible.  It has one marvelous unity.  If we hear an interpretation of one passage that does not square with something in another passage, one of the passages (possibly both!) is being interpreted incorrectly.

The Holy Spirit does not disagree with Himself. The reformers used the expression “Scriptura Scripturam” or scripture interprets scripture.   They meant that obscure passages in scriptures must be understood in light of clearer ones.  If the bible is God’s word then it must be consistent with itself.  No part of the bible can contradict any other part.

One should never build a doctrine on a single obscure or unclear text.  Ex. Matthew 16:18. And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. From this the Catholic Church made Peter the 1st Pope and went completely against Bible Doctrine.

5.The Practical Principle- Is what we should use to apply the Bible to our own lives.  Always the final question we should ask is, “so what? What does all this have to do with me?” Second Timothy 3:16 says, “All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable.” All of it applies to our lives in one-way or another.  It is beneficial for “teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness.”

“Doctrine” is the basic divine truth, the principle of fact that any aspect of the Bible teaches.  Doctrine encompasses the principles we live by.  For example, the Bible contains certain doctrine regarding marriage and the family.  We apply this teaching to our lives. “Reproof” is another practical work of the Bible.  As we study it, it unmasks our sin, reveals our hidden guilt, and drives the skeletons out of our closets into broad daylight.

When we apply doctrine, reproof is often its first work.  Reproof leads to “correction,” which is the change away from the sin which was reproved by the doctrine.  Then comes “instruction in righteousness”- the laying out of the new righteous path in response to true doctrine.  This is the practical work of the Word.

Remember it is impossible to understand the will of God for your life, if you don’t make contact with God in the Spirit.  The Word of God is the Foundational and Fundamental building blocks for your Christian walk and understanding the will of God.  Through the Word we are able to understand that the Holy Spirit is the Revelational aspect which manifests the word into your life.
